Join us! GoFundMe is seeking a Marketing & Messaging Product Manager who believes in the impact of GoFundMe and is passionate about our mission to help people help others. We are seeking a strategic and tenured Product Manager to power our marketing and customer engagement platforms while also building our first user to user messaging system. As a Marketing & Messaging Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in using communications to drive the success of the campaign organizers, donors, and nonprofits we support, powering thriving communities of help.

This is a hybrid role and candidates considered for this role will be located in the San Francisco Bay Area and will be able to join our teams in our office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

  • Product Strategy: Define and execute a product strategy that prioritizes features and capabilities that maximize value for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with your engineering squad to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Execution: Work with Engineering to ensure that key initiatives get done well and on time and that the domains for which you are responsible are well supported. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, primarily engineering and product management to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to measure platform performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform product decisions.
  • Customer Focus: Understand the needs of both internal and external customers, and translate those needs into actionable product requirements and outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and solve complex problems, often requiring creative and innovative solutions.

  • Proven product impact: You have a track record of shipping impactful payments product features and deep subject matter expertise. 5+ years of relevant product management experience

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $185,000 - $250,000 + equity + benefits.  The salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
