Galli Law, PLLC is currently seeking a dedicated and organized Legal Assistant to join our team in Syracuse, New York. This is an FLSA non-exempt position with a starting hourly pay rate of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, allowing for weekends and holidays off.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and drafting correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with various courts and agencies, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements.
- Organize and maintain client files, both digital and physical, ensuring that all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate with clients and other parties involved in legal matters to gather information and provide updates as necessary.
- Perform data entry and maintain records in the firm’s case management system.
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits and binders, as required.
- Undertake other general office duties to support the efficient operation of the firm.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a legal assistant role, preferably within a law firm.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes, particularly in the areas of litigation and real estate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with legal management software is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
