Project and Support Center Manager (Active Secret Clearance)

G2IT is seeking a Service Desk Manager for a Contractor Owned, Contractor Operated support center for the USTRANSCOM Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC).  The ideal candidate will have:

• 10 years of demonstrated experience providing Enterprise level Information Technology (EIT) based Customer Service for applications that support mission objectives;
• Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years within SDDC, USTRANSCOM, US Army and/or DoD;
• Three (3) years of demonstrated experience with ServiceNow supporting IT Service Management;
• Three (3) years of demonstrated agile management expertise that configures ServiceNow workflows, and introduces and matures newly adopted ServiceNow modules including:
  • DevOps Change Velocity integrations for development tools (i.e., GitLab),
  • Information Technology Operations Management (ITOM) for real time health monitoring and firewall tracking,
  • Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) for centralized tracking of assets to include Hardware and Software, and
  • Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) for project management, routing and tracking

Education and Industry Certifications:

• STEM based Bachelor of Science degree preferred;
• Help Desk Institute Support Center Manager (HDI0SCM) OR Help Desk Manager (HDI-HDM) certification REQUIRED;
• Certification supporting IAT Level II, REQUIRED
• Active Secret Clearance, REQUIRED
