Investment Associate

Are you looking to grow your career in venture capital at one of the fastest growing funds in B2B SaaS? Do you want a high amount of autonomy while collaborating on some of the most exciting investment deals on the market right now?

We’re looking for an Investment Associate to join our team and help us find and invest in the top early-stage companies out there. Our B2B SaaS fund and accelerator has been around for 10 years and our track record is incredible, and only getting better. This is an amazing chance to join a small investment team with the infrastructure and resources to drive deal flow and catapult your career by playing a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating and closing 80+ investments per year.

As an Associate on our investment team, your primary role will be sourcing and assessing investment opportunities for our Accelerator. You will actively support our thesis work providing market research as we explore new verticals in the B2B SaaS space. In addition, you will be building and maintaining relationships with our portfolio founders, investors, and the broader startup ecosystem.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage an outbound deal flow process and identify potential investment opportunities to reach out to.

  • Deal pipeline management - screen inbound deal flow, and review applications.

  • Cultivate relationships with founders, angels, pre-seed and seed funds, startup communities and industry leaders, in order to source prospective investments.

  • Prepare internal investment memos and perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities

  • Support the investment team on thesis development, market mapping, and trend research

  • Support the daily operations of the investment team, helping to streamline processes and ensure alignment with team goals and timelines.

Who you are:

  • You are located in SF

  • 1-3 years of venture investing experience

  • A committed community builder with deep networks in tech

  • Been a founder yourself - you have gone down the venture path and understand what it takes to get in the room and secure funding

  • You can tackle quality and quantity when it comes to sourcing - we invest in 100 companies every single year, that means the day to day is intense and packed.

  • You love having your hand in multiple sectors and deals at once and can juggle those nuances

  • You love coming up with ways to optimize community and engagement

Compensation:

  • $150-175,000 USD

  • Carried interest in the fund

  • Generous benefits package

  • Flexible work environment

  • Unlimited vacation
