Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor - Adult Outpatient Pavilion - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Register patients by securing and validating patient and insurance information
• Assess patient financial responsibility and assist in securing financial assistance options
• Accept patient payments and reconcile accounts in an unbilled status

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred Associate or bachelor's degree in related fields such as Accounting or Healthcare Administration
• Minimum two years of customer service experience with a patient-centered focus
• Experience with computers and Microsoft Office software
• Preferred experience in patient scheduling/registration in a healthcare setting
