Position Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Business Coordinator to support our Fintech Team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing support when required to strategic initiatives, and driving efficiency within the team. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Executive Support & Coordination:
- Provide high-level support to the Chief Fintech Officer, including managing schedules, prioritizing tasks, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and briefing materials for different audiences
- Track and follow up on key action items and deadlines across the team.
- Follow up on project bases such as Sales Leads, Fintech team matters
Project & Task Management:
- Support ongoing strategic projects and initiatives within the organization
- Ensure smooth execution of internal processes by coordinating tasks and aligning with stakeholders.
- Manage expense reporting, travel arrangements, and logistics for leadership
- Coordinate organization monitoring processes and overlook on time deliveries
Event & Meeting Management:
- Plan and execute key events, including All-Hands meetings, offsites, and team-building activities including new fintech initiatives support
- Organize internal and external partner meetings, ensuring seamless logistics and execution
- Organize team participations at annual fairs and large industry events
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Relationship Building:
- Act as a key point of contact within the organization, fostering strong relationships across teams.
- Facilitate communication between different departments and leadership.
- BSc Degree in a business-related field, ideally Economics or Project Management
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Energetic and passionate about the job, consistently taking full ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a strong commitment to delivering results.
- Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
- Capable of navigating complex environments, maintaining focus and effectiveness under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in event planning and project coordination is a plus.
- Highly PC literate (Excel, Google Suite, other relevant project mgt solutions)
- Experience preparing presentations and reports (Google Slides, Sheets etc).
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within Fintech, SaaS, or Financial Services, will be considered an asset.
