The state-of-the-art Long-Term Care facility allows Intensive Care Unit nurses to uphold their high standards of patient care and further enhance their skills. They will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, registered nurses, and auxiliary care staff to assist patients in achieving independence where possible.
Candidates with ICU experience will play a key role in patient recovery, managing a 1:5 patient ratio. They must confidently delegate tasks, adhere to policies and procedures, and deliver clinically effective care. Strong analytical skills are crucial for reviewing assessment data, diagnostics, laboratory results, and promptly reporting any deviations to the medical team.
Salary range & hours: $32.00 to $39.00ph dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a long-term acute care setting.
- Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in treatment and illness management.
- Manage multiple patient cases individually.
- Oversee daily rehabilitation and medication administration for patients.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex care treatments for conditions such as pulmonary/ventilator liberation, neurological disorders, and post-trauma care.

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Adult Nursing (BSN)
- NCLEX-RN Passer (or in progress)
- Appropriate State RN License (or willing to obtain)
- English Proficiency Examination (If required)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS/PALS or additional certification
- 24 months recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit setting
- Ability/Willingness to relocate for a minimum of 3 years
