POSITION SUMMARY


ESRT is seeking a motivated and organized Revenue Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals currently enrolled in school who are eager to gain hands-on experience in revenue management and data analytics. As a Revenue Intern, you will assist with day-to-day operations, data handling, and updating reports. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in the field, with potential for the role to evolve into more business decision-making or data analytics responsibilities.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Data Gathering
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
  • Compile, clean, and merge data sets
  • Reporting
  • Update daily, weekly, and monthly reports via Excel and PowerBi
  • Assist with compiling ad hoc reports and preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership
  • Market and Competitive Analysis
  • Monitor city-wide trends, relating to inbound NYC travel, trends, consumer mix, competitor pricing, and competitor products

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and taking on new responsibilities


REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in Microsoft Suite and PowerBi, experience with SQL and Python are a plus
  • Proven ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and exceed targets in a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or applicable field
  • Experience with data analytics, business strategy, or similar areas
  • Interest in revenue management or data analytics


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

$22.50 - $27.50 an hour
Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, job location, size of property where applicable, and/or certifications.
