As a Commercial Insights Analyst you will perform a key role supporting stakeholders from all areas of the business, as well as working with the Reporting Analysts on the key reporting capability of the wider Insight & Analytics team.

Reporting to the Senior Analyst, you will be part of the Commercial Analytics team providing insights that contribute to the ongoing commercial success of the business.

What you'll do

• Provide analytical support and insight to enable high profile and impactful decision making throughout the business, allowing key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• Provide analysis not data. Understand the data, draw out actionable findings, and deliver them clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.
• Take ownership of macro-level KPI reporting across the business, ensuring timely and accurate data is consistently available.
• Pro-actively monitor key metrics, identifying unusual performance and highlighting to the business potential areas of both risk and opportunity.
• Contribute to the maintenance of the Commercial Analytics KPI tree.
• Monitor new and existing data flow processes to ensure continual improvement in data quality and availability.
• Promote data self-serve throughout the business, collaborating with data engineers to ensure the self-serve tools are robust and accessible
• Work closely with Marketing Analytics function to ensure alignment.
• Build relationships with business leaders across the team, promoting the Commercial Insights and Analytics team’s capabilities and ensuring we remain front of mind for colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with Sports and Gaming analysts within the wider team.
• Liaise with FP&A team for all forecasting and reporting related issues.

Essential:

• Good knowledge of SQL with an understanding of database structure and logic
• Ability to analyse large and varied datasets
• Experienced Power BI user with good knowledge of MDX
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders clearly and work through to completion

Desired:

• Knowledge of programming languages
• Understand the principles of data visualization
• Knowledge of online gaming industry
• Interest in Sports
