We are currently looking for a Field Service Warehouse & Logistics Manager to add to our team located at our York, PA facility. We are a tight-knit group that takes a great deal of pride in what we produce. Job Description

Position Summary & Objective

The Field Service Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for management of the field service warehouse facility including but not limited to commercial agreements, organization, maintenance, safety and cleanliness. This position will be responsible for the inventory, maintenance, and logistics of all field service tooling and equipment as well as being the strategic leader toward tooling innovation. This position will be responsible for field service-related logistics needs such as but not limited to shipping of field tooling, setting up job sites with proper equipment, on-site cranes, inspections of all rigging and safety equipment and calibrations of all precision equipment.

Essential Functions Performed by the Position 

  • Management of warehouse facilities
  • Management of all tooling and field service equipment maintenance/replacement.
  • Maintain Tooling and equipment inventory for warehouse and field sites.
  • Tooling and equipment innovation, maintaining an understanding of industry best practices.
  • Lead continuous improvements related to field service tooling, equipment and logistics.  
  • Completion of logistical planning for Field Service proposals per required due dates to include:
    • Tooling and major machining requirements
    • Quotations and purchase order set up for major subcontracts to include machining, painting, outbuildings, transportation, tool rentals and other specification requirements
  • Timely completion of work as related to site logistics so not to impact project schedule or costs (mitigate expediting). 
  • Maintain system to know where all critical tooling is always (ex. Laminas, Rotalign, Optic Levels, Welders, Grout pumps, etc.)
  • Manage equipment inspections and calibrations, assure there are no impacts to safety, quality or schedule due to lack inspections or calibrations.
  • Build out tool trailers for projects
  • Manage all logistics related to field services
  • Complete purchases required to support the field service team and projects as required.
  • Collaborate with field service team during proposals to support defining project scope and requirements needed to execute the project.
  • Understanding project requirement dates and working to complete related responsibilities on time so not impact the projects.
  • Work with VP of Field Service to develop and manage the long-term field service capital expenditure plan.

  • Ability to work with others and handle solutions.
  • Ability to maintain effective daily and weekly schedules to deliver on time results.

Travel Requirements (percent)

  • 10-20%
