The Role
As CFO of Enhanced, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, human resources, corporate services, and legal functions. You will develop and execute financial strategies, ensure fiscal discipline, and provide leadership to support the company's rapid expansion in the U.S. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, hands-on leader, and results-driven professional with experience in both public companies and high-growth startups.
This is not just your typical CFO position as it will oversee a very large portion of our business including critical functions that often do not report into a CFO. This is a truly life changing opportunity for the right candidate so our bar to hire is very high. Key Areas of Responsibility
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with legal, accounting, and external advisors to ensure compliance with SEC regulations, NYSE rules, and other public market requirements.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
Provide strategic recommendations to the President and executive team.
Monitor key financial metrics and drive data-driven decision making.
Accounting & Compliance:
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations, and financial audits.
Implement scalable financial systems and processes to support growth.
Manage cash flow, treasury, and capital allocation strategies.
Human Resources & Organizational Development:
Oversee HR strategy, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
Develop policies that promote a high-performance and inclusive work environment.
Legal & Risk Management:
Manage legal affairs, including contracting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee the mitigation of business risks by implementing policies and insurance coverage.
Fundraising & Investor Relations:
Lead capital-raising efforts, including public equity and debt financing.
Build relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.
Prepare financial presentations and reports for board meetings and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and one or more of: MBA, CPA, or CFA.
10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, with a strong background in public companies, high-growth startups, venture-backed firms, and/or investment banks.
Strong understanding of financial planning, corporate finance, and risk management.
Experience in fundraising, M&A, and investor relations.
Public markets (NYSE) experience is a bonus.
Knowledge of HR and legal functions, including employment law and compliance.
Exceptional analytical, strategic, and leadership skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Must Have Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
Must be willing to work from Enhanced’s New York office five days a week.
