Job Description

We’re a profitable, scaled SaaS company with 1,700+ employees worldwide, expanding our demand generation program. This is a rare opportunity to shape and scale a growing function in a traditionally sales-led organization—now with unprecedented executive support and investment in marketing. We have the chance to define what excellence looks like.

As the Content Lead, you will lead the development and execution of our content marketing strategy to drive demand generation and engagement. You’ll create compelling, data-driven content that educates, inspires, and converts our target audience. This role requires a mix of strategic vision, creative storytelling, and analytical rigor to measure content impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with business goals, customer journey stages, and demand generation initiatives.

  • Thought Leadership: Establish Ecovadis as a leading voice in ESG for enterprise clients – creating original content such as whitepapers, research reports, and blogs.

  • SEO & Organic Growth: Lead SEO-focused content initiatives, optimizing for search engine rankings and increasing organic traffic.

  • Content & Sales Enablement: Work cross-functionally to distribute content via email marketing, the website, paid campaigns, and sales enablement.

  • Content Performance & Analytics: Define and track key content performance metrics, using data insights to refine and improve strategy.

  • Agency & Freelancer Management: Manage external content writers, designers, and video producers as needed to scale content production.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in content marketing, with a focus on B2B SaaS.
  • Leadership: Experience managing a content team of either freelancers or in-house hires, including writers, editors, and designers.
  • Content Mastery: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of how content generates demand and closes leads.
  • SEO & Analytics: Proficiency in SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and content performance tracking tools.
  • ROI Focus: Understanding of how content marketing fuels demand generation, pipeline growth, and lead conversion.
  • Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, and demand generation.
  • Tech Stack Knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo), and analytics platforms.
