Associate Manager, DashMart - Quality Strategy & Operations

About the Team

Our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team is re-inventing the way consumers think about grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail delivery through both our first-party and third-party operations businesses. DashMarts are our first-party offering designed to provide on-demand deliveries through a new type of convenience. Inside DashMarts we sell household essentials, groceries, brand-name favorites, local favorites and so much more! We have sites all over the country and are growing our geographic footprint, services we offer and scaling our existing sites today! 

About the Role

In this role, you will be a core team member of our DashMart Central Strategy & Operations team, with a key focus on quality and building the associated product tools to improve our quality. You will focus on enabling our business to grow by identifying and executing on our strategic roadmap to drive our top line quality and fill rate goals across the DashMart business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage projects end-to-end by analyzing operations data, deploying strategic workflow design, and facilitating internal processes that will directly impact our field operations teams. You may also have experience in marketplace growth, with a high bar for solving complex problems using data as your source of truth. You will report into a Manager within the New Business Verticals organization. We are in a hybrid model, so we do get our teams together a few times a year for in-person collaboration. All our offices are open should you choose to go in on a more regular basis!

  • Build. Gain a deep understanding of product strategy; drive development of new products, tooling and product enhancements that drive quality improvements in operational efficiency, accuracy and customer experience. 
  • Problem Solve. Identify and solve problems in real-time; remove barriers for operators and cross-functional partners related to key Quality OKRs. 
  • Analyze. You'll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate based on data.

  • You have 4-6+ years of experience. You've succeeded at expanding businesses (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience).
  • Product Ops / Project Management. Experience in project management, direct experience in new product launches is a plus. 
  • You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
