DoorDash is building the world’s most reliable on-demand logistics engine for delivery! Join our growing engineering team in our brand-new São Paulo engineering hub to develop secure, trustworthy, and safe marketplaces for consumers, merchants, and dashers.
We’re looking for an Android Software Engineer with a passion for innovation to help build features that enhance Trust and Safety across our platform. Your work will focus on ensuring authenticity, eligibility, compliance and safe experiences for millions of users.
You’ll collaborate with a high-caliber, international team of engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver impactful solutions. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including Gen AI, you’ll contribute to making one of the world’s largest gig platforms safer and more reliable.
This is a flexible hybrid position and we expect to have some regular (weekly or monthly) presence in the office, whose frequency can be aligned with your manager.
Quick Fact: Recently, the Trust & Safety team achieved a significant reduction in post-delivery safety incidents by using AI to monitor conversations between consumers and dashers. This means we will protect thousands of users from seeing inappropriate messages on their phones each year.
