What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the PhoneWeb team part of the Phone Assistant domain. 

The vision is to revolutionize access to care for patients and day-to-day practice management for healthcare practitioners. You would be joining a team responsible for building and scaling a new product in the Doctolib suite: Our Phone Assistant will be the new interface between patient and practioners. This opportunity will allow you to leverage the latest technologies in AI, NLP, Voice Recognition to build delightful user experiences and scale your product to millions of users. 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing a scalable user interface in NodeJS and React;
• Leading the way in quality, maintainability and scalability of your teams code;
• Help us with your experience in service-oriented architecture and interacting with multiple internal services;
• Be the voice for pragmatic and robust architecture;
• Thinking user first and help improve our user experience through new features and while maintaining high code quality standards;
• Helping keep our bug backlog small;
• Bringing your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we work.
  
  

Who you are

If you don’t meet all the requirements below but believe this opportunity matches your expectations and experience, we still encourage you to apply!

• You have 5+ years of software engineering experience;
• You have strong background in NodeJS and its popular web frameworks (such as Nest.js). Knowledge of Python and Ruby is a plus;
• You have strong technical skills, with a track record of working in a distributed system;
• You’re familiar with software design patterns and domain-driven design;
• You have a good understanding of web technologies and software development life cycle;
• You are proactive, curious, collaborative and eager to learn;
• You have a “user first” mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well-tested and pragmatic code;
• You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture;
• You are eager to share your knowledge and help the team grow by pair programming and mentoring;
• You are fluent in English. German fluency is a plus.
