Director of Ransomware Response

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Ransomware Detect & Respond.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a 24/7 Security Operations Center focused on ransomware monitoring and detection
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of SOC analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning
• Oversee real-time monitoring of customer environments and serve as the primary escalation point for high-severity alerts

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SOC leadership or security monitoring within a cybersecurity product organization
• Proven track record of building and scaling a 24/7 SOC
• Deep understanding of ransomware threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
