Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Hospital-Based Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and direction for hospital-based coding services
• Analyze and establish strategic plans to ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with various departments to maintain positive relationships and support coding operations

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or related field with 2 years of leadership experience, or
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management with RHIA certification and 4 years of leadership experience, or
• Associate's degree in Health Information Technology with RHIT certification and 6 years of leadership experience
• Preferred: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
• Experience: 10 years in Health Information Management and 5 years in coding leadership
