About the job
dentolo Deutschland GmbH is seeking a motivated and experienced French-speaking Operations Business Development Manager (f/m/x) to support the launch of our pet insurance vertical in France. In this role, you will drive process optimization and operational excellence as part of our expansion into the French market.Working under the guidance of the Country Manager, you will take on key responsibilities such as executing strategic projects, developing efficient workflows, and leading a team of claims experts to ensure an outstanding customer experience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to scaling operations and play an integral role in driving our growth in France.


Your role in a team:

Project Ownership & Process Improvement

  • Lead the design and implementation of claims management processes for the French pet insurance product.
  • Implement new structures and processes.
  • Optimize operations, including customer service processes, in collaboration with Team Leads.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Develop and manage a team of claims experts to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Conduct training, evaluations, and continuous improvement discussions.
  • Monitor and improve process compliance and performance goals.
  • Assist in day-to-day customer service operations.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Expansion Project Team and other departments such as Product, Data, Sales and Marketing to define new features, gain insights, and communicate with customers.
  • Provide support during unexpected volume increases.

Daily Business & Operational Support

  • Assist in daily operations to ensure smooth workflows.

Must have 😬

  • Hands-on experience in building structures and implementing processes.
  • Experience in a scale-up environment.
  • Proficiency in English and French is required.
  • Strong technical acumen.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong in-house connections.
  • Strong direct communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and discuss requirements effectively.
