The Local Marketing Team:
The Senior Local Marketing Manager will sit within the UKI Local Marketing Team. We are responsible for developing the strategy for how Deliveroo wins at a regional, local and hyperlocal level. This includes identifying target audiences, commercial and consumer insights to develop highly relevant and engaging strategies across key locations within Ireland, Scotland & North England
We use these insights to develop campaigns and toolkits that we then execute tactically across key regions, cities and neighbourhoods to unblock consumer barriers and win market share. We are a team of two parts: Local Strategy & Local Media Planning. This role will sit within the Local Strategy team and work collaboratively with the Local Media Planning team to set and deliver the vision of the team. The Role:
The Senior Local Marketing Manager, Ireland, Scotland & North England will report directly into the Head of Local Marketing. The role will be a hybrid role with responsibility for managing the end to end marketing strategy across Ireland, Scotland & North England, whilst delivering local initiatives that span across the UK & Ireland.
Managing the end to end Ireland, Scotland & North England marketing strategies will provide great autonomy to tailor a marketing plan timed around key seasonal and customer moments throughout the year. The successful candidate will achieve this by working collaboratively with Commercial, UKI Marketing and Insight teams to evaluate the commercial needs, key customer moments and opportunities of their regions. They will provide insights, analysis and recommendations, using this output to lead joint business planning at regional, city and neighbourhood level.
Owning strategy for key UKI wide Local marketing initiatives will provide exposure to stakeholders from across the business delivering on some of our most important company wide programmes which shape the direction of Deliveroo on a local level. The successful candidate will work on strategy development, planning and execution along with, aligning management team stakeholders, and working collaboratively with teams across the business to deliver on our vision.
The successful candidate will develop insightful reporting and measurement, turning insight into recommendation, helping to shape out the business direction on a local level. We think big at Deliveroo, and always get to the “so what” to constantly strive for improving on our strategy and approach.
