About the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager - Gift Card Specialist to drive the growth of our gift card business through strategic account and partnerships management. This role is responsible for managing key business development and partnerships, expanding business opportunities, and ensuring seamless operations in marketing and sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, partnerships, and marketing operations, with a focus on the Japanese gift card market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account & Business Growth Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in the gift card ecosystem, including retailers, online platforms, and distribution networks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring smooth communication and operational excellence.
- Develop strategic plans with partners to drive sales growth and improve gift card offerings.
- Identify new partnership opportunities to expand our gift card distribution channels.
- Monitor and analyze key business metrics (sales performance, redemption rates, partner effectiveness) to optimize strategies.
2. Marketing Operations & Campaign Management
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase gift card awareness and sales.
- Work with internal teams to ensure effective branding, messaging, and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with game developers to create promotional opportunites.
- Coordinate with partners on joint marketing efforts, seasonal promotions, and digital marketing strategies.
3. Operational & Compliance Support
- Ensure seamless end-to-end operations, from card issuance to redemption tracking.
- Work closely with internal teams to manage fraud prevention, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in account management, partnerships, or business development within the gift card, payments, fintech, or gaming industries.
- Experience in marketing operations and campaign execution.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage key business relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance data and market trends.
- Knowledge and experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
- Native in Japanese, Fluent in English (Business-level communication in both languages).
