America SCORES Communications & Brand Manager

Position Overview:

America SCORES is seeking a dynamic and creative Communications & Brand Manager to lead storytelling, digital strategy, and brand execution across its national network in the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how a powerful, community-rooted youth development movement—and the voices of our poet-athletes—are seen and understood by partners, supporters, and families across North America.

As the primary communications lead for the America SCORES network, this role will manage national messaging, social media, websites, and digital presence; support affiliate sites with tools and coaching; and lead visibility efforts tied to major events and strategic partnerships. The position is designed to strengthen network cohesion, elevate authentic stories of poet-athletes, and fully leverage the generational brand opportunity presented by the World Cup.

The role is approximately 30 hours/week through July 2026. It is ideal for a mission-driven communicator who combines creativity and strategy with a collaborative spirit, strong writing skills, and a passion for equitable storytelling.

We aim to complete the hiring process for this role in June, with a hopeful start date in late June 2025.

Note: While this is a national America SCORES position, it will be posted through DC SCORES’ job platforms as DC SCORES currently serves as the administrative home for the America SCORES national team. The Communications & Brand Manager will work closely with both the America SCORES and DC SCORES teams.
