About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Risk Analyst in providing support to Subject Matter Experts (‘SMEs’) across our Operations and IT departments.

In the role, the successful candidate will: 

  • Assist in the planning and oversight of several risk related projects, including the preparation of stakeholder reports, presentations, and other supporting materials.
  • Support the rollout of the associated project plans and risk programmes of work.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of these projects, as well as on any associated risks.
  • Support the SMEs in prioritising the workstreams and output from these projects.
  • Schedule and support the agendas for regular project meetings with stakeholders across first, second and third-line functions.
  • Act as a liaison between SMEs and other internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by SMEs or other senior team members.

About you

 We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

  • Relevant degree from a recognised University or College.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry is an advantage.
  • Evidence of ability in coordinating project interdependencies and their associated workstreams.
  • Evidence of ability to monitor and report progress against targets.
  • Evidence of organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • An ability and willingness to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, and excellent writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
