Credit Policy Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credit Policy Manager to oversee mortgage transaction evaluations and manage a team of mortgage professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build job aids and processes for mortgage tasks
• Manage a team responsible for various levels of file reviews and approvals
• Develop and maintain databases and tracking systems related to mortgage documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mortgage lending with a focus on underwriting and/or processing
• B.A. or B.S. in business or equivalent work experience required
• Strong understanding of investor requirements and ability to operationalize guidelines
• Experience managing high-risk loans and making decisions with discretion
• Solid interpersonal skills for fair issue management
