CPC Licensed Coding Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Associate III to ensure accurate medical coding and billing for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers) for diagnoses and procedures while meeting daily quotas with 95% accuracy
• Enter, validate, and correct codes and documentation; validate coder production
• Coordinate provider queries and resolve escalated claims

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Active CPC or CCS-P, or RHIT certification with experience in women's health, family practice, internal medicine, and/or urgent care coding
• Experience as a coding team or project lead is preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines including ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, and E/M coding
