Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

We are seeking a skilled Product Development - PVC Material Process Engineer to join our innovative team in Mount Pleasant, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting hose activities by developing and optimizing PVC material processes for in product development, ensuring high-quality outcomes and efficient manufacturing procedures.

  • Lead the industrialization and optimization of PVC material processes for new and existing hoses products.
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PVC material requirements into product designs.
  • Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate and industrialize PVC material properties and performance.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical reports.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in PVC material technology and processing techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in PVC material processing.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of PVC material properties, polymer science, and processing techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical abilities and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience with product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PVC material processing.
  • Demonstrated track record of process improvements and innovation in PVC material applications.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in PVC material process engineering, preferably in a product development or manufacturing environment.
