Field Finance Director

The Field Finance team is responsible for overseeing and optimizing financial performance through supporting and partnering with the Go-to-Market (Sales, Customer Success and Marketing & Partnership) teams. Everyone on the team is passionate about finance and business partnering, and we share the following goals:

The Field Finance team is composed of more than 10 finance executives who cover each of the segments, GEOs and departments in the field.

We are seeking a Field Finance Director, reporting to the Vice President of Field Finance, who will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing financial performance by supporting and partnering with the Americas Sales Leadership team. We are looking for a detailed-oriented individual who possesses experience in the finance function, financial planning and analysis or controlling.

• Partner with the Americas Sales leaders to support strategic decision-making focused on both top and bottom lines.
• Manage and develop a team of one financial analyst, providing leadership, mentorship, and clear direction to ensure high performance. The primary responsibilities of this analyst are to drive the commissions calculations for the Americas GEO and contract validation process.
• Assist with financial planning and forecasting, participate in booking forecast calls, understanding risks and opportunities for the given quarter.
• Perform the deal review for elements under the Finance approval ownership (payment terms) and provide guidance to sales and deal desk on the Booking Rules of the company and revenue recognition.
• Support the VP in driving the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and accountability from senior leaders. 
• Collaborate with other 4 Field Finance Directors who are responsible for specific segments or departments, to provide recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.
• Develop financial models and dashboards to monitor financial performance, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations.
• Monitor key financial metrics across customer segments and regions, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Drive best practices for reporting to our business partners. Ensure the team provides timely and actionable financial insights to drive business operations and profitable growth.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested and participate in cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate with other Finance Departments (Controlling, O2C, Accounting, FP&A) to deliver high-quality financial insights and services to internal customers while maintaining a strong service-oriented approach. Business partnering with the Sales & Revenue Operations Teams.
• Foster a culture of financial discipline, business acumen, and continuous improvement within the team.

• 10+ years of experience in Field Finance or FP&A, with a track record of success in SaaS, software, or technology companies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent business acumen, financial discipline, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to drive business decisions.
• Experience working in global, fast-paced environments with a demonstrated ability to adapt to diverse cultures and structures.
• Must be able to work on-site in our New York City office
• Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
• Prior experience with financial systems, BI & Analytics platforms, CRM and ERP systems is highly preferred.
