Senior Recruitment Specialist (AU Mortgage, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PH Time)  

What are we looking for? 

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of recruitment experience in the Australian mortgage sector or similar financial services roles. Experience sourcing Philippine candidates for roles such as mortgage brokers, loan processors, underwriters, and loan officers, with a strong understanding of the Australian mortgage market.
  • 1+ years of recruitment leadership experience either mentoring junior team members or direct management of staff.
  • Experience with online networking tools, such as LinkedIn, Jobstreet, JobAdder, Workable ATS, Indeed and experience conducting searches on recruitment databases and ability to identify and access new professional networks required.

  • Experience with JobStreet, LinkedIn, JobAdder/Workable ATS, Indeed, etc.

What will you do? 

  • Partner closely with Australian-based brokers to understand their organizational needs, hiring forecasts, and any changes in recruitment priorities. Regularly update clients on progress and provide consultative advice on market trends, salary expectations, and talent availability.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis prior to client discovery sessions to identify specific requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Manage client recruitment needs and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manage the selection process for all open positions, including requisition management, development of position descriptions and recruitment strategy, candidate selection, reference and background checks, salary negotiations, and the facilitation of the on-boarding process.
  • Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers to ensure a complete understanding of the job requirements, candidate matches, and the qualifications needed to fill the role.
  • Use findings to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, assessments, and closing approaches.
  • Develop and ensure implementation of high-quality recruitment, interviewing, selection, and strategic onboarding processes.
  • Build the skills and commitment of hiring managers to follow best practices in all stages of the talent acquisition life cycle.
  • Review applications and assess candidate qualifications against criteria established in the project job descriptions or scope of work requirements.
  • Conduct thorough candidate pre-screening interviews and recommend highly qualified and diverse candidates who meet the requirements for the role.
  • Collect relevant personnel documentation.
  • Negotiate the compensation rate and packages.
  • Provide daily/weekly reports to hiring managers on a timely basis regarding status relating to all positions; including outreach and response for each position as needed.
  • Systems Management and Development.
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of the recruitment & onboarding processes, research best practices, obtain feedback from new hires and hiring managers, and utilize data to refine and improve the processes over time.
  • Develop creative ideas and innovative recruiting techniques to source qualified professionals and a diverse talent pool. (i.e., social media, employee referrals, direct contact recruiting, internet data mining, job boards, and internal/external networks)
  • Develop easy to use recruitment templates and forms (CV templates, reference check forms, common email templates, How-Tos, recruitment manuals, etc.).
  • Evaluate and improve recruitment and related processes.
  • Promote the company’s recruitment brand through active participation in job fairs, conferences, and other networking and marketing events
