IT Project Coordinator (AU Construction, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM AEST)

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in IT or technology-related projects.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience using project management software and tracking tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Skills Required:

  • Certification in Project Management
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of IT systems and software development processes.

What will you do?

We are seeking an organized and proactive IT Project Coordinator to manage and coordinate multiple IT projects, ensuring that all stakeholders are consistently updated and projects remain on track. The ideal candidate will act as the key point of contact between all stakeholders and the project team, helping to prevent delays, scope creep, and any potential budget overruns. This role is crucial to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Serve as the main point of contact between stakeholders, clients, and project teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, timelines, and requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure all deadlines are met while maintaining a focus on quality.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks, issues, and obstacles that could affect project timelines or budgets, working with the team to develop solutions.
  • Regularly communicate project status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews, ensuring all necessary stakeholders are involved.
  • Track project budgets and resources, ensuring that all expenditures align with project budgets and that any deviations are addressed promptly.
  • Work closely with the project manager and other team members to develop and refine project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Ensure that project documentation is maintained, up to date, and easily accessible for all stakeholders.
  • Provide support and coordination for resource allocation and assist with the management of project timelines and deliverables.
