Key Responsibilities:


Data / AI Practice Development:

Build and scale the Data & AI practice by recruiting top talent and establishing best practices.

Develop and execute comprehensive training and upskilling plans to ensure team members remain at the forefront of industry knowledge.

Collaborate with global regions and the India MD to align on strategic priorities, resourcing and practice development goals.


People Management:

Lead, mentor, and support a team of data professionals, including data engineers, AI specialists, and technical consultants.

Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual development goals, and create personalized growth plans.

Drive employee engagement through regular one-on-ones, feedback sessions, and team- building activities.


Resource Coordination:

Partner with the resource controller to assign the right India-based associates to appropriate global projects, ensuring alignment with skill sets and project requirements.

Manage resource allocation and workload distribution to maximize productivity and maintain employee satisfaction.

Oversee onboarding for new hires, ensuring they are integrated smoothly and have the necessary tools and resources.


Talent Development & Retention:

Create a culture of continuous learning by organizing workshops, certifications, and mentorship programs.

Develop strategies for employee retention, including clear career paths, recognition programs, and work-life balance initiatives.

Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, promoting collaboration and innovation.

Performance Management:

Establish clear performance metrics and ensure regular monitoring and feedback.

Identify and address skill gaps within the team, implementing targeted development programs.

Drive a high-performance culture by recognizing and rewarding top contributors.


Qualifications:

8-12 years of experience in people management, ideally within data and AI or a technology consulting environment.

Proven track record of building and scaling teams, with a focus on employee growth and performance management.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of professionals.

Experience coordinating with global teams, including managing relationships with the India MD and resource controllers.

Familiarity with modern software development practices, data engineering, and AI/ML concepts is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Certifications in leadership or talent management.

Experience working in global organizations and cross-functional teams.
