Clinical Practice Evaluation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Practice Evaluation Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the coordination of internal and external provider peer review, including quality review of electronic medical records
• Generate peer review worksheets and facilitate timely case reviews in collaboration with Medical Staff leadership
• Educate medical staff and hospital leaders on compliance with peer review standards and participate in performance improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of clinical practice and/or hospital operations
• Experience with EPIC and a degree in nursing or related healthcare field preferred
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience
• Working knowledge of peer review processes, medical record content, and relevant regulations
• Experience in patient safety initiatives and clinical quality process improvement
