Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Clinical Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of nurses and coders in performing coding tasks and project work
• Develop, track, and monitor coder productivity and team performance metrics
• Collaborate with clinical and analytics teams to ensure consistency and maximize savings on claims

Required Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a clinically related field with coding and billing procedures
• Minimum 6 years' experience in a leadership role with people management responsibilities
• Current coding certification by AHIMA or AAPC, or a medical license (RN, MD)
• Extensive knowledge of hospital billing and claims data, including various coding systems
