We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support short-term rental properties throughout New York City. You’ll be the go-to expert for property maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring guests enjoy smooth, well-maintained stays. Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $52,000 – $60,000/year (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs for short-term rental units
• Respond promptly to guest-reported issues with appliances, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, locks, etc.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of units before and after guest stays
• Use company tools, equipment, and vehicles (including Sprinter vans) to transport supplies and complete tasks efficiently
• Maintain inventory of tools and basic supplies
• Communicate effectively with the property management team and guest support
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards

Schedule

• Full-time schedule with weekend and Monday availability required
• May include rotating coverage and on-call responsibilities depending on property needs

• 2+ years of building or property maintenance experience
• Comfortable working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
• Ability to drive a Sprinter van confidently
• High school diploma or GED
