Civil Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Civil Estimator to create and manage budgets, review plans, and negotiate with contractors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a standardized estimate cost reporting framework for evaluating construction pricing submissions
• Review and validate project scope against a demarcation matrix, highlighting deviations and cost impacts
• Provide analysis of construction costs using market intelligence and document assumptions from estimates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of cost management or estimating experience for civil projects
• Experience with complex commercial projects such as laboratories and medical facilities is preferred
• Proficient in CostX and Google Suite, with strong capabilities in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of relevant construction technologies and trends, particularly in sustainability
