Temporary Principal Packaging Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Principal Packaging Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Product Development team in delivering packaging sustainability initiatives aligned with the 2030 roadmap
• Lead technical packaging efforts for a SBTi rebaseline, ensuring data accuracy and clear documentation
• Drive early-stage innovation work, including the development of custom bottles and closures

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging
• 10 - 15 years of progressive experience in the CPG industry with technical leadership in packaging development
• Deep expertise in sustainable packaging design and alternative materials
• Experience with corporate sustainability programs, including SBTi alignment and ESG reporting
• Strong understanding of custom primary packaging development and tooling design
