The Data Technician primarily assists with photo processing. Photo processing includes organization, digitization, and coding of photosets taken from the field to generate various metrics. The Data Technician will work closely with the Quality Assurance Coordinator to process data and produce deliverables under supervision from the Data Manager.
Chestnut Carbon is based in New York City. This is a remote/work-at-home position, however you must live in the desired region within the United States. This is a part-time, hourly contractor position.
We need a commitment to 10 to 20 hours of work in a fluctuating environment. When work is available it needs to be completed in a timely manner. Our work can be seasonal and dependent on when we have boots on the ground collecting data for us to process.
Additional hours are sometimes available for separate projects.
