This role is an internship and will last for three months.

Salary

• $20.76 per hour

Job Summary:

An information technology trainee (IT trainee) is responsible for taking care of several work-related tasks while gaining more knowledge about the job. This individual is expected to assist with and handle technical support issues that arise, providing assistance to team members and managers as needed. In addition, this role may also include but not limited to, for analyzing, developing and modifying computer programs as appropriate skills and abilities are acquired.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (any combination of the following job duties):

• Be open to learn new things and enjoy the learning journey
• Follow instructions regarding work, training and desired task at hand
• Attend/participate/schedule meetings in the formal training process, be it face to face sessions or online activities
• Abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the Company Handbook
• Complete tasks, assessments, assignments, etc. that are set by IT
• Keep and update progress on either a copy of the training plan/record and provide upon request
• Keep track of day to day work by identifying tasks and using tools as necessary
• Develop project plans as skills are acquired
• Two-way communication and follow-ups are essential part of the job
• Be flexible and adaptable to change while working as a team member of the IT Department
• Focus on customer needs and meet business expectations as desired
• All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality.

Peripheral Duties: 

• Tasks and special projects as assigned by IT Operations Manager
