Certified Senior Project Forester

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Forester (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee validations and verifications of forest carbon offset projects
• Develop and implement forest management and planting plans while monitoring compliance with regulations
• Manage large-scale forest carbon offset projects, including budgeting and stakeholder communication

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in forestry or forest management with an analytical/biometric/geospatial focus preferred
• Minimum 3 years' experience in developing and implementing timber cruises
• Minimum 3 years' experience with forest growth and yield models
• Certified Forester designation or state-registered forester required
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and forestry practices
