Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis, process improvement, and organizational development
• Support leadership initiatives and enhance communication across departments related to revenue cycle policies and practices
• Assist in planning and executing analytical and operational tasks for revenue cycle projects

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC (CPC, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT) required
• 3+ years of facility/hospital coding experience
• Experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG systems for hospital coding
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data entry, etc.)
