Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coordinator-Professional Coding Quality/Education.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the flow of medical record coded information for billing and reimbursement
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, quality, and timely submission of medical data and documentation
• Design, assess, and evaluate educational programs to improve documentation practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field or five years of coding experience may be considered
• Certification in at least one coding specialty required
• Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding systems
• Five years of specialty coding experience preferred
