Certified Coder Quality Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Quality Auditor to conduct quality assessments of coding practices and provide education and guidance to coding staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality reviews and audits of inpatient and outpatient coding
• Assess educational needs and create training materials for coding staff
• Serve as a technical resource and provide reports on audit findings

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding experience
• 3+ years of auditing experience
• Associates Degree or equivalent experience
• Current certification such as CPC, CCS, or RHIA
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical/surgical terminology
