GA-CCRi is seeking Back-End Software Engineers to join our federal team. The role involves developing scalable, high-performance cloud-based software systems. Our focus areas include global situational awareness and data fusion for air, maritime, and ground tracking. Join our growing team and shape the future of battlefield situational awareness!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, design, implement, document, test, and deploy software applications for a variety of systems.
- Implement software to represent and update tracking movement though state estimation techniques (e.g. Kalman/IMM filters).
- Develop test scripts and frameworks to verify and validate functionality.
- Maintain existing capabilities deployed to customer facilities and cloud environments including debugging and updating to keep pace with the evolving environment and technology.
- Understand customer, user, and operational requirements and implement new functionality into software products.
- Document and communicate highly technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and effective manner
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a CI poly.
- Typically requires a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Experience with a variety of programming languages, such as Java, Scala, Python, and Golang.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools.
- An understanding of formal software engineering principles including design, documentation, ticketing systems, version control and Agile methodologies.
- Supporting experience to execute against database technologies such as PostgreSQL.
- Experienced with software version control systems, in particular, git.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Comfortable working with Linux systems on a daily basis.
- Deployment technologies such as: Docker, Kubernetes, Knative, Helm, Rancher.
- Cloud technologies such as: Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Accumulo.
- CI/CD pipelines and tooling (Gitlab CI/CD, ArgoCD, CircleCI, Jenkins)
- AWS infrastructure and tooling.
- Geospatial data and analytics.
- Data fusion and data engineering tools.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community and DoD mission sets.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness to get certified.

Pay Range
$120,000-$140,000
