AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

cBEYONData is seeking an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Top Secret Clearance required) to join a data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) team supporting our federal client. This is a full-time position with on-site work performed at the client’s office.

100% on-site, in Washington, DC or Chantilly, VA 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct, prioritize and remediate security vulnerability findings for RHEL servers. 
• Configure Splunk for centralized logging using ansible.
• Manage and monitor AWS cloud-based infrastructure, security, and application environments.

Requirements:

• Active Top-Secret clearance required
• 100% on-site, in Washington, or Chantilly, VA 
• 5 years of relevant experience 
• Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt and Ansible
• Knowledge of scripting languages (YAML, Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (i.e., Gitlab runner, git commands.)
• AWS Solution Architect Associate certification or relevant experience
• Good understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices.
• Application and OS security hardening experience/understanding (i.e. DISA STIG Remediation)
