About the Team

You will get to be part of a dynamic team composed of Careem veterans to new tigers who joined on a mission to build and propel Careem Food to become the market leader. We strive to embody our values of ownership, shooting to the moon, and being of service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains. As a Sales Team Lead you will have the essential role of managing the team responsible for executing our sales strategy and vision by successfully signing and onboarding new partners and improving the customer experience through an increased restaurant supply for our customers.

What You’ll Do

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, inspire, and manage the the team of executives to achieve ambitious targets
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success and professional development
  • Drive overall KPI adherence

Process Driven and Organization

  • Build, monitor and enforce system and process compliance to enable KPI success
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement effective strategies
  • Proficient in problem solving at scale
  • Creative as well as data driven
  • Create, implement and improve new and existing processes
  • Excellent communicator and presentation skills

What You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of experience managing a commercial team with strong operational exposure
  • Record in launching a team, department or project is a plus
  • Proven track record of success in account management and team management
  • Track record in team transformations from strategy to management
  • Building a culture of high performance, momentum and joint sense of purpose
  • Food delivery/tech experience experience is a plus
  • Proficient in data analysis, excel, etc.
  • Experience with CRM tools
