Canadian Tax Office Leader

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Tax Director to lead its Canada National Tax Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the National Tax Office (NTO) and contribute to firm-wide strategic planning
• Lead the development of tax technical positions and oversee the dissemination of technical publications and thought leadership
• Ensure consistent application of tax quality standards and collaborate with internal teams to manage tax-related risks

Required Qualifications:

• CPA, CA designation (or equivalent); Master's in Taxation or LLM (Tax) preferred
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Canadian tax, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Deep expertise in corporate tax, international tax, and tax policy
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and influence at the executive level
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
