California Licensed Pharmacy Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Compliance Specialist to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance policies and procedures, and conduct internal audits
  • Stay informed about Medicare Advantage regulations and assist in auditing pharmacy operations for compliance risks
  • Support the Pharmacy Director in monitoring delegated entities and perform utilization management activities
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • 3+ years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within a Medicare Part D health plan or PBM
  • Experience with HEDIS reporting or collection
  • CA Pharmacy Technician License
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part D regulations and CMS guidelines
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives
