Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Aid Advisor to evaluate, approve, and award financial aid to students.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial viability of students and advise on financial aid opportunities and application processes
• Review and assess eligibility of financial aid applications, providing approvals and maintaining documentation
• Conduct workshops and provide information to students and families regarding financial aid policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor's or associate degree with four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and training
• Broad knowledge of federal financial aid programs and recordkeeping requirements
• General knowledge of accounting practices and computer applications
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle confidential information
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office software products
