California Licensed Actuarial Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Actuarial Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of analysts providing actuarial support to various departments and key initiatives
  • Provide actuarial analysis and proactive recommendations to management on tactical and strategic matters
  • Incorporate quality program goals related to HEDIS, CAHPS, and NCQA Accreditation
Required Qualifications
  • At least six (6) years of actuarial experience with the ASA and healthcare experience
  • Leadership experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) is required; Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) is preferred
  • Medicaid experience is preferred; Medi-Cal experience is highly desired
