Event Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive and strategically-minded Event Coordinator to support our event marketing initiatives. Reporting to our Product Marketing Manager, you'll manage event execution and logistics, while actively contributing to event strategy alignment and business objectives. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual excited about delivering meaningful, engaging events and eager to grow within a dynamic AI-focused company.

Events are at the core of the Botpress community, from collaborative hackathons to daily livestreams and webinars. This role will be instrumental in supporting our event marketing initiatives and empowering our global community of builders, developers, and AI enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end event logistics, including venue management, vendor coordination, attendee registration, equipment rentals, and travel arrangements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Marketing to develop events that align with Botpress’s marketing strategy and business goals.
• Actively participate in strategic event planning discussions, offering ideas and insights to enhance event effectiveness and attendee experience.
• Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and maximized ROI.
• Oversee event promotion activities in partnership with marketing, content, and design teams.
• Coordinate event follow-ups and measure outcomes, assisting in generating reports on event performance and impact.
• Troubleshoot onsite issues proactively, ensuring smooth event execution and exceptional attendee experiences.

• 2+ years of experience coordinating events.
• Proven ability to manage detailed logistical tasks while contributing strategically to event objectives.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with event management software and marketing platforms.
