Project Manager Internship (f/m/div.)

The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. We are looking for a Project Manager Intern who will work closely with our Project Manager (PM) to learn, track, and support engineering projects while also exploring AI applications in project management.

During this internship, you will:

• Develop real-world project management skills.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams (R&D, production, purchasing, testing).
• Gain hands-on experience with project tracking tools (JIRA, JAMA, MS Project).
• Learn how to automate project management tasks using AI.

This role is ideal for someone highly organized, tech-savvy, and eager to learn AI-driven project optimization.

Your contribution to something big: 

• Project Management Support
  • Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Ensure all project tickets and tasks are up to date in JIRA.
  • Create filters, dashboards, and reports to improve project visibility.
  • Support risk management activities by identifying and tracking potential issues.
  • Help with project documentation, meeting notes, and action items.
• AI & Process Optimization
  • Explore ways to integrate AI into project tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in developing AI-driven automation tools to optimize workflows.
  • Research and propose AI solutions for data analysis, predictive risk assessment, or task automation.
• Learning & Mentorship
  • Work directly with the Project Manager, receiving personalized mentorship.
  • Gain exposure to engineering, production, and business operations.
  • Develop problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

What distinguishes you:

• You are a Student or Recent Graduate in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Passionate about project management and AI applications.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Familiar with JIRA, JAMA, or other project management tools (or eager to learn).
• Enthusiastic about technology, automation, and efficiency.
• A great communicator who can work well in multidisciplinary teams.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have but Not Required)

• Experience with Python or AI tools for automation.
• Familiarity with FMEA, WBS, or critical path management.
• Basic knowledge of sensors, cameras, or hardware development.
