About role:

The IT Operations Manager is a catalyst for an efficient and effective customer experience by facilitating good system performance, enabling high system reliability and leveraging fast issue resolution.

With an end-to-end view, he or she manages all support and operational issues for IT solutions, products and services including interfaces to deliver benchmark level and contribute to the business needs and goals. Together with the counterparts on business and technical side, he or she accompanies the whole IT application and operation support as single point of contact. In short, this role ensures an operational support experience which meets the needs and requirements of the customers and makes them realize their intended business benefits. Without this support, even well-designed applications would be badly running tigers.

► Manage escalations as problem owner for all “run” aspects in the lifecycle of the IT-Solutions. Acts as "caretaker" for all end-2-end operation issues arising in the respective GE

► Maintain operational documentation (ITOM, SLA, CMDB, etc.)

► Suggests and promotes service and quality improvements on an ongoing basis to continually improve customer satisfaction for the IT-Solutions and Products

► Communicates proactively with business counterparts (GE and CESUM) to provide information on downtimes, maintenance windows, service improvement plans

► Provides Consulting for identifying IT solution quality requirements, risk management approach, adapting project / continues development and deriving quality targets for the IT solution

► Configures, monitors, maintains, and enhances IT products/solutions in line with operational targets.

► Manages IT solution operations, including escalations, incidents, problems, requests, maintenance and reporting of all relating operational units in alignment with stakeholders

► Secures transition, integration,and deployment of an organized and managed application support and maintenance of IT support according to agreed commercial scenarios.

► Suggests and promotes service and quality improvements to continually improve quality and customer satisfaction for the specific IT solutions, products and services

► Develops and enforces IT solution quality assurance plans and compliance checks

► Oversees IT security measures, ensuring alignment with Bosch regulations and directives

► Supports security-related work product creation and coordinates IT security processes

► Supports problem-solving (e.g., 8D methodology) and drives continuous improvement initiatives

► Develops and maintains IT solutions

► Conducts spot-checks to ensure adherence to operational processes

► Acts as BD Security Manager for multiple IT solutions

► Expertise in IT quality assurance and control with knowledge of IT lifecycle management

► Expert knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident-, Problem-, Asset-, Crisis-, Service-, Change-Management, etc.)

► Advanced knowledge of IT security topics

► Technical expertise in applications and infrastructure especially within the focus area of his/her IT solution

► Experience in eCommerce, websites, marketplaces, e-shops and integretation to ERP backend systems

► Experience in project execution regarding operational topics

► Understanding of performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs, OLAs) and business needs

► Understanding of compliance requirements for software and IT services

► Basic knowledge of technical risk management and problem solving

► Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
